Overview

About Home Health Aides

Home health aides provide hands-on personal care as part of your overall home health plan, always supervised by a registered nurse. Because aides spend unhurried time helping with daily routines, they are also wonderful at noticing small changes in skin, appetite, or energy and letting your nurse know right away.

Home health aide visits are provided alongside skilled nursing or rehabilitation therapy. Visits are scheduled on a part-time, intermittent basis rather than 24-hour live-in care.
