Our registered nurses are the anchor of your home health care team. They listen to your concerns, carry out your doctor's clinical orders, teach your family what to expect, and coordinate all of your care at home.
Overview
Skilled nursing covers any medical care that requires the training and judgment of a licensed nurse: evaluating a changing health condition, organizing complex medications, treating wounds and catheters, administering IV infusions or injections, and teaching you how to care for yourself safely. Every visit follows a care plan signed by your doctor.
Just as importantly, your nurse is someone you can talk to openly. They explain medical terms in plain English, take time to answer your family's questions, and keep your doctor updated so your treatment plan adapts as you recover.

Yes. All skilled nursing visits are performed by licensed nurses working directly under your physician's signed plan of care.
Your doctor sets your visit schedule based on your medical needs. Most patients have more frequent visits during their first couple of weeks home and fewer visits as they feel stronger.
Call us with questions, to make a referral, or to check whether you qualify. A real person answers during office hours, and a registered nurse is on call after hours.
